Accessing Social Capital for Youth Who Experience Foster Care

We are conducting a survey regarding a young person’s access to social capital while in foster care. Nahapiet and Ghoshal (1998) define social capital as the totality of the actual and potential resources embedded within, available through, and derived from ones’ network of relationships. (p. 243). This is an effort to help promote the healthy relationships that foster youth develop through their time in foster care.

Each survey will take 10-15 minutes to complete.

The results of these surveys will help inform the group's policy statements that are produced and distributed to the government agencies that administer foster care.
